Method

  1. Put the butter in a bowl with the garlic, parsley and a good pinch of black pepper. Mix well. You can do this in advance and keep in the fridge if you like
  2. Carefully split the pittas down one of the long sides and gently open up the pocket. Stuff the cheese into the pocket and transfer to the airfryer. You might have to cook them one at a time if your air fryer is small
  3. Cook at 160oC for 3 minutes until the cheese is starting to melt
  4. Spread some of the butter over the top and return to the airfryer. Cook for another 2-3 minutes at 160oC or until golden and the cheese is oozy!
  5. To oven bake, pop the stuffed pittas without the garlic butter onto a baking tray and cook in the oven at 170oC for about 10 minutes, spread over the butter then return to the oven for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. To cook in a pan, heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the pittas upside down, without the butter. Cook gently for 3 minutes or so then turn over and cook for a further 3 minutes, adding the garlic butter after a minute to let it melt
